And now, your holiday begins: enjoying the morning peace and having a refreshing dip in the lake right in front of the house, now that is a good way to start the day. A short outing in a boat, as children feel especially great on the water. Even adults will enjoy water battles, there is a raft for water antics…

Guided tours to one of the many mountains around the lake is also available. Or perhaps you feel like going on a mountain-biking tour guided by the landlord: beautiful tracks attract every cyclist. Several bicycles - children´s and mountain bikes - are always available for our guests.

The autumn by the lake also offers dream scenes and wonderful impressions. You can take delight in them while hiking, touring the mountains or during pleasant lakeside walks. Observe..., reflect..., rest... and let your soul swing in the expanse!

In winter you can experience a winter tale of relaxation and feeling good. Away from the hustle and bustle, Weissensee offers you wonderful winter hikes in our mountains or 6.5 km² of natural ice, the largest enclosed ice area in Europe. Amongst many sports activities the programme includes skiing fun for the young and the young at heart on the Weissensee family ski slope. You can also spend your afternoons curling while keeping yourself warm with gluhwein or hot punch. This is part of the weekly programme of our house. We also provide the curling stones.

Those who fancy a very sporty day can set off on 70 km of best tracks prepared for any level of difficulty. Otherwise you can sled down the pistes of the family ski slope by Weissensee. Or you treat yourself to a ride on a horse drawn sled on the frozen lake. After such an eventful day we recommend a relaxing steam in the house sauna, before going to the den, where the warm earthen stove awaits you. In the meantime the children can go wild in the room with table tennis and in the playroom.

Adjacent to the house, in the shade under the ski lift, is the organic farm. In the farmyard there is, of course, always a lot to do. We produce fresh milk, natural yoghurt, sour milk and cottage cheese.

Jakober House comprises of 8 holiday apartments for 2-4 people. All but 2 have a wonderful view of the lake. All the apartments include a bedroom, a balcony, a kitchen alcove, a bathroom with toilet, radio, telephone and satellite TV. Prices include tourist tax, electricity, heating, and hot and cold water.
